Roland – Fantom-G8 (Novità)

Era ora che dal Winter NAMM 2008 venisse fuori qualche novità degna di nota.

In realtà ne sono venute fuori tante ma, iniziamo da qui.

Dopo aver quasi digerito la delusione offertami da Yamaha nel non aver ancora realizzato il Motif Xs Rack, offro la medaglia d’oro a Roland che presenta ben 24 prodotti al Namm.

Tra questi vorrei iniziare a citare ciò che non hanno fatto gli atri produttori; una workstation.

La serie Fantom si arricchisce di 3 nuovi modelli, nello specifico G6, G7 e G8.

In questo post vediamo alcune caratteristiche tecniche del Fantom G8 (88 tasti).

Credo che questo nuovo giocattolino Roland possa competere senza timore con gli esponenti maggiori delle marche concorrenti.

La prima novità è il display LCD da 8.5″.

I dati visualizzati al suo interno sono gestibili, grazie ad una porta USB, attraverso un mouse. Un’altra (porta USB) invece consente di salvare i dati.

Il sequencing è più muscoloso dall’alto delle sue 128 tracce (comprese 24 audio) contro le 16 dell’X8.

Ecco alcune differenze tra il G8 e l’X8:
