Il Numark iDJ2 è un mixer a 2 canali che consente attraverso la dock station integrata di utilizzare la musica salvata sul proprio iPod e, appunto, mixarla.

La cosa interessante è che oltre ad ulitilizzare i file salvati sull’iPod (anche 2 alla volta, questa è la novità), permette di scratcharli attraverso le due jog wheels. L’utile schermo a colori fornisce le informazioni utili all’utilizzo e al mixaggio.

E’ possibile utilizzare un secondo tipo di archivio come HDD esterni, o un altro iPod, il tutto attraverso la porta USB integrata. Outputs bilanciati, pitch control, key lock, seamless looping, e full cueing completano la lista delle caratteristiche che lo rendono un prodotto interessante.

Le estensioni di file supportate sono: Mp3, Wav e Aac (non protetto).

In conclusione

Molto interessante la possibilità di poter caricare e mixare 2 file contemporaneamente dallo stesso iPod. Non mi immagino però un DJ pro che ci fa una serata.
