Ecco ciò che credo diverrà presto uno standard o comunque una fonte di spunto per tutti i produttori di synth.

Open Labs ha realizzato una tastiera con un computer integrato o forse è un computer con una tastiera integrata. Insomma, ci siamo capiti.

Immaginate una super Master Keyboard con uno schermo LCD da 15″ a colori (Touch Screen) con una risoluzione di 1024×768 pixel che oltre ad avere la possibilità di controllare e richiamare i parametri dei virtual instruments, li integri pure. Non è finita! Potete avere sempre con voi i vostri software di registrazione (ad es. Cubase) e sfruttare la vasta libreria di suoni e preset presenti nella tastiera.

Ecco, questo è Neko.

Oltre a quanto appena citato, integra una tastiera come quella del computer (qwerty) e molti altri controller.

Attraverso il software fornito è possibile controllare e richiamare i suoni predefiniti ed accedere alle funzioni della tastiera. L’installazione dei programmi e dei virtual instrument è identica a quella eseguita su un computer normale.

Il Neko è prodotto in due modelli, Lx (76 e 61 tasti) e Se (61 tasti).

In conclusione

Stupendo, manca una versione a 88 tasti ma è stupendo. Il prezzo direi che è proporzionato alle sue qualità.
